Alistair is an entrepreneur, author, and startup accelerator. He has launched several companies, including Coradiant (acquired by BMC in 2011) and a number of technology conferences such as Cloud Connect, O’Reilly Strata, Bitnorth, the Enterprise Cloud Summit, and the International Startup Festival.

Alistair is the author of four books on technology and business, including the best-selling Lean Analytics, much of which is based on his experience running the Year One Labs accelerator in Montreal.

Today, he works on research and strategy at CloudOps; blogs at Solve For Interesting; and spends much of his time trying to walk the line between data-driven decision-making and leaps of faith. His latest project, Tilt The Windmill, looks at how intrapreneurs produce change in large organizations.
