Balaji S. Srinivasan is a General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, a multibillion-dollar venture capital firm. Dr. Srinivasan holds a BS, MS, and PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford, and taught data mining, statistics, and computational biology in the Department of Statistics at Stanford University. He was the co-founder and CTO of Counsyl, was an NDSEG, NSF, and VIGRE fellow, was named to the MIT TR35 and Founders Fund F50 lists, and has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine, Nature Biotechnology, and Nature Reviews Genetics. In addition to his work at Andreessen Horowitz, Dr. Srinivasan teaches the Startup Engineering MOOC and runs the new Stanford Bitcoin Group with Professor Vijay Pande.
