Ken Ikeda is Founder & Principal of Civic IP, a community investment and strategy agency focused on transforming and scaling community working solutions into profitable enterprise. A former public radio CEO and nonprofit arts Executive Director, organizations under Ken’s direction have secured $200m in private equity investment and philanthropic support; managed a multimillion dollar public radio loan fund; worked with the MOMA, Merce Cunningham, NEA, PBS, NPR, NSF and Dept of Labor; negotiated over $300m in mergers and acquisitions that has expanded the reach of public broadcasting services to over 65 million Americans; consulted with over 250 public media station GM’s and University Trustees; and trained over 8,000 incumbent digital media employees for companies as diverse as Pandora, Pixar and Wells Fargo. He currently serves as a board director for Youth Speaks, The Working Group and Greater Public.
