Nate Weisz has a fifteen year track record of success in technical and management pursuits. For the past few years he enjoyed a foray into product management where he learned dark arts like turning ideas into shippable products. Prior to this, most of his career was in the more concrete world of coding and managing software development teams. His technical experience includes architecture, design, and development of multi-tier applications on both Java and .NET platforms.
He thrives on leading cross-functional team – defining, prioritizing, and managing the delivery of software. Working for CommerceOne, IBM, and SRA, and 3Pillar Global, he managed teams of five to twenty-five members through the full software development lifecycle, including waterfall and agile methodologies, requirements definition, technical design, implementation, build/deploy, systems infrastructure, and operations. His experience spans startup to enterprise environments including projects in e-commerce, telecom, insurance, publishing, and DoD.
Nate is a lifelong resident of the Washington, DC area and enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, commuting by bicycle, cooking and doing things out in nature.
