Nathan’s most recent adventure is a three month tour of duty at US Digital Service — a new startup within The White House. He helped hack the federal bureaucracy to enable modern software design practices to thrive there, and leveraged his SRE experience from seven years at Google to ensure a successful re-launch of healthcare.gov.

Before scaling up infrastructure at Google, Nathan built weather radars, chased thunderstorms, and rode the waves of a number of mostly-failed startups.
