María works as Innovation Manager and Lean Startup mentor at Telefónica R&D in Barcelona. During the last three years she has been part of the team which has designed and implemented a pioneer innovation framework. One of the essential pieces of that program is the roll out of Lean Startup methodologies.

To share the learnings and the experience she has co-authored with Susana Jurado the Lean Elephants whitepaper. María combines an engineering background with product and business skills but even more importantly she is passionate about people, this is why she enjoys so much the Lean Startup mentor role. María strongly believes that although there are obstacles and difficulties Lean Startup delivers clear benefits also in the context of a large corporation.
